There were two errors in the posted article. The corrected references are below: 
The distance between vernier and flanks and between neighboring flanking lines was 3.33′ (not 1.33′ as stated in the fourth paragraph of the Materials and methods). 
The presentation time in Experiment 3 was 1000 ms.
